does not look like a 24 hour operation and I wonder how they decide when the international frequency is low? That would not be in the middle of the night and then the domestic frequency should be high. Is this not for domestic passengers? (who are more likely to travel without luggage)?
I am hoping to try this out On october 15 from my AA 292 trip

It's not a 24 hour operation yet. But as long as it meets most pf the international flights, it makes little difference. I am tired of cities with metro/public transport that connects the city to the airport, but is not operational at the time I need to go.Originally Posted by cover point

Why are you so impatient? Aren't you happy enough that you are getting a swanky world class airport that you have to nitpick about dates of the service? Originally Posted by GUWonder

I just wanted to know if Indian Standard Time is still Indian Standard Time and if someone is going to pay for delay(s) or not. Originally Posted by Yaatri

Why do you doubt Indian Standard Time. Has Indian Standard Time ever failed? Indian Standard Time You are something. Not only do you hate America, you hate India too. Originally Posted by GUWonder

Indian Standard Time is अटल (immovable), अचर(unwandering), अनादि (without beginning), अनन्त (unending or without an end), and सनातन (eternal) Why would anyone pay for the delay? Has anyone ever paid for delay before? Delay is God's drama (भगवान की लीला). Paying for delays is challenging supreme God.

Did you catch the train? I think you meant, you would have had to rush to catch a train. So you saw no point in checking this out.Originally Posted by saad

my train ticket was at home & so were all the files for my case the following morning....so i had to go from the airport to my house, pick up the stuff & then to the station....& i had less than 2 hours to do this....don't ask me how i managed this but somehow i did....made it on my train just a couple of minutes before it started....Originally Posted by Yaatri

Now they are talking about starting the service at the ends of this month. DMRC that had to provide safety clearance certificate and Reliance, the operator, are blaming each other. Whomever might be ultimately responsible for the delay, the airport metro was not able to get a safety clearance certificate from DMRC.
This is how one station, Shivaji Stadium, on the line looked like on Oct 1, two days before the inauguration of Commonwealth Games.
The line looks far from completion despite claims by some Indian apologists that the line is ready. Following claims have been made:
The real station is underground and is complete.
What is it with some people. They don't understand what completion means? The airport was inaugurated before it became operational or functional. The domestic terminal is still not in operation and is not expected to be for a couple of months. I have to go back to the tailor analogy. After continually failing to deliver your suit on every promised date, you finally go to pick up your suit. Once again, you are told, "You are offered a xcup of tea instead. Not that it's n ot ready. It's just about ready. The boy is sewing on the buttons and making buttonholes. The suit IS ready to be worn. You can use pins instead of the buttons. So what's the big deal? "

- What you see in the picture is only the canopy on the surface and does not interfere with operation of the line.
- Even if the station isn't complete, the line could operate between the airport and NDLS without stopping at Shivaji Stadium. Never mind the fact that one is supposed to be able to check in, along with their luggage, deposit the luggage at the station, and get their boarding pass.
The line can ve inaugurated and be in operation without the Shivaji Stadium station.
