3 weeks in Goa, Hotel Advice?

Im planning out xmas vacation and Goa is going to be it this time around. It will our first time in India and plan on spending a few days in DEL and the rest in GOA preferably near Anjuna beach as that is where the partying is, and party is what we want!

Can anyone reccomend any hotels out there? The higher quality the better for us and would be grateful to get some tips. I am doing my due diligence but there are quite many hotels there and cross-referencing with trip advisor shows inconsistencies. Thanks very much for your kind help.

While there are many suggestions on trip advisor I've always preferred recommendations below.

If affordability is a non-issue, the Taj Aguada Resort is as good as they come. I've stayed there and its a wonderful property. Taj Holiday Village is right next door too. Also can try the Leela or Radisson. Given the OP is looking at 3 weeks, a mix of hotels may also be interesting and provide a variety of experience! Proximity to Anjuna shouldn't be much of an issue, they're all no more than 30-40 minutes away, I'd imagine.

Thank you! I liked the "Leela" (kempinski) but it was a touch to far from anjuna/baga area and all the restaurants and bars so Im slightly against it. Im going to check out the Taj Aguada and the Radisson, two that I had not considered, so thanks indeed!

Doesnt fort aguada have a big run aground oil tanker as view?

Personally, dont waste your money on 5* luxury. Go to some of the boutique places or guest houses. Much better value for money.

Do the hippies just sleep on the beach? Would anybody dare to go there with that as the primary plan?

A number of ppl do sleep on the beach.. but not for more than a cpl of nights.. You really don't want the dogs for company beyond a point..The hippies around Anjuna mostly shack up in small guesthouses/budget hotels located around Anjuna..

If you're staying 3 weeks, Taj Holiday Village is located in a good place to cash in on the action at Calangute/Baga beaches..There is also a new property located close to Taj, called "The O Hotel". Anjuna is merely a 15mins drive away..

Closer to Anjuna, there is a Country Inn property..which is suitable for long-stays.. It has self-catering serviced apartments plus normal rooms as well.

Thanks vm! Im going to break it up and stay in south Goa at either the Aguada or Leela, and then closer to anjuna (xmas break) at either Laguna Anjuna or one of your suggestions. Have to make reservations soon as I hear it gets quite busy during the high season. Great suggestions all around! Thanks!

For high quality try the Taj Exotica. It was very good with excellent service. My gf has a severe fish allergy and she had her own personal chef who would cook whatever she wanted (dispute us having paid only for the buffet).

And at the end of the trip they did not charge for the additional meals.

I can't recommend them highly enough. The Leela is also good.
