9W misconnect policy / practice

I have a forthcoming trip all on 9W for CCU-(C)-HYD-(Y)-BLR-(Y)-COK all on one day with a very tight connection in HYD (40 minutes) and a somewhat tight connection in BLR (100 minutes). Since the CCUHYD portion cannot be changed, this is my only way to travel to COK on the same day.

The CCU-HYD ticket in Business Class has been issued as a part of an international trip and I will have to buy the HYD-BLR-COK legs in Y, either online on the 9W site or through a TA outside India.

Could someone more familiar with 9W please advise on the likely reaction if there is a misconnect? Would they arrange for transportation on other carriers or if there are no alternative flights, would they pay for hotel accommodations etc.?

IndiGo 1500.00 + 3100.00 + 225.00 = 4825.00

681 JetLite 12:00 Hyderabad 13:25 Kochi Economy

JetLite 1500.00 + 3325.00 + 0.00 = 4825.00

Whate date are you flying on? Is your CCU-HYD flight 9W511? Is your HYD-BLR flight also 9W511? If it is then most likely you are on a flight that just makes a stop in HYD on its way to BLR and if you have your boarding passes and bags checked through, you might not even need to get off the aircraft at HYD!!

(BTW The Domestic to Domestic MCT at HYD is 30 minutes, so you might be in luck even if it is a connecting flight.

Great point, Satish! I should have looked at the flight numbers, before posting. Yes. it will be 9W-511 all the way from CCU via HYD to BLR. So that takes the worry out of connection!
