6E Indigo: Check-in time

The last Indigo flight I took (CGK-BOM) demanded that check-in be completed 3 hours prior, yet the check-in counter opened only 2.5 hours before departure! Now I am looking at a 6E flight leaving at 0225 from TAS and wonder what is the latest time I need to present myself at the check-in counter, considering that seats would be booked in advance?

They're asking you to OLCI, starting T-48 hours. Doesn't matter if you've got your seat selected or not.

3 hours is their standard ask. If I have no bags to check in then I get to the airport an hour prior since I already have the BP courtesy online check-in. If checking in bags then I get there an extra 20 minute beforehand.

If you have checked -in luggage then an hour & 30 minutes to be safe. If no luggage then an hour before will suffice.

I see on the Indigo website it says web check in not available if reservation was made with an international credit card. Is this the case with 3rd party bookings (through opodo in my case) with an international card?
I have a short connection from an international flight to domestic and only have hand luggage so having the boarding card in advance might make the difference of making it or not.
Arriving 5.15am from IST on TK, connecting to Jodhpur at 6.50am on separate tickets.

Assuming you are flying via DEL, this connection is dead on arrival. 6E 2411 to JDH leaves from T2, TK arrives in T3. You will not make it to the checkin desk within the time limit (T-60min) at 5.50am if you land at 5.15.

That said the online checkin works fine even if you used an international credit card to purchase your ticket, I checked in for my 6E flights to/from Goa about a year ago using the app.

Thanks for the info on the online check in. We will try and be prepared to buy/change the ticket last minute to the next flight at 10.50am if needed. We are always quick, picked a front front of cabin for a fast exit and hopefully we get lucky!

I know there's a 6E transfer desk just as you're exiting the DEL T3 domestic area. There maybe a similar booth after exiting international. Ask around if there is one. Otherwise there is an airport shuttle I think. But yeah... jumping from T3 - T2... it will be quite tight.
