Air India Refunds...

Hi there,

I had a question about AI refunds. I had a web booking that I cancelled. The ticket was
paid via netbanking. I got the cancellation email from AI but no information on how they
will refund my money ! Do you know if they will refund without having to follow up ?
Should I go to the airport ticketing office to get it in person ? Any guidance is
appreciated...thanks.

It will go back to the same account you paid from... in your case your bank account via a NEFT transfer. I always use a CC so I have no experience in this but you should expect this back within 2 weeks max and follow up with customer care if you don't.

Netbanking tickets say that they have been paid with 'CASH' so theoretically you can go to any city or airport office and collect the cash in person.

Am I reading this correct... in only one of your transfers it says cash? For the rest it seems to recognize it’s a bank transfer.
