Questions on transit and baggage

Hi

I am traveling from Newark to Delhi via Mumbai next month by Air India. I had a couple of questions:

1. Will I get my checked in luggage at Delhi or Mumbai?

2. What process do I need to through after de-boarding at Mumbai to get to my connecting flight.

The time in between is 2.30 hrs and the AirIndia website tells me that both these flights will be from Terminal 2.

Thanks

i believe you go through customs & immigration in mumbai....then re-check your bags for your domestic flight to delhi....

I guess you have posted the same queries in multiple threads - Nevertheless, I assume somewhere you mentioned that you would be connecting to AI314 for BOM to DEL.

In that case, your luggage would be tagged all the way to DEL and you would clear Immigration/customs in DEL as AI314 arrives on International side at DEL.

You just need to get into transit lane upon disembarking at BOM with your BOM-DEL boarding pass after arriving on AI144.

Cheers!
