Called up Jet to find out the number of miles required in Upper class UK-USA and was asked to send them a email. 3rd reminder now and still nothing.

I agree with you but on the other hand you got to take what you are given with Jet. Those miles will just expire away which is what they want.

Jet is also starting to block upgrades on domestic segments now. Take IXC-BOM as an example only day in the next few weeks available in Biz is tomorrow.

Flight is showing wide open every day.

In my view, JP redemption options have gone from bad to worse ..

Had some old miles expiring. when I booked RT was going for roughly 19K. I did not find that worthy.

Agreed. I'm getting quite worried about the substantial mileage balance that I have accumulated.

Even getting single J seats (let alone F) to LHR are proving difficult. And domestics, which were never the best value as it is, are even proving hard unless you want to redeem on a trunk route like DEL-BOM.

Conversely, I've been quite lucky so far (touch wood!) with IT redemptions (J to LHR as well as domestics.)

Have heard that IT is liberal with mileage redemption, though haven't tried it yet myself. Will start accumulating more with them when they join OW.

AJ, you could perhaps try their new routes (for a vacation??) whenever they come up since there may be more open seats there at that point of time?

How many seats do they open up per flight?

I've never searched for more than 2 at a time, but that in itself hasn't been a problem (unlike 9W!).

Last week I redeemed DEL-MAA-DEL in J for 2 on IT, while I was unable to find even 1 J seat on any 9w flight! On IT, I had a choice of 2 separate flights, both on the outbound and return dates.
