Is this a makable connection in BOM?
Air India
Flight 311
Departs: 10:00p Indira Gandhi Intl (DEL)
Arrives: 12:15a Chhatrapati Shivaji (BOM)
Layover in Mumbai, India (BOM) for 1h 00m
Air India Flight 140
Departs: 1:15a Chhatrapati Shivaji (BOM)
Arrives: 2:35a Rajiv Gandhi Intl (HYD)
I am considering doing this. What are the odds that I make the connecting flight considering flight delays? Other considerations (I am not familiar with BOM airport). Thanks!

You will not make it. AI 311 invariably runs late in my experience. Also, these flights operate at the international terminal so you have to jump through additional hoops and formalities compared to domestic. One hour is not enough.

Totally agree. B747-437B is right about these flights operating out of the international terminal (or at least AFAIK, they end up having to park at or near the international terminal), so the transfer can be a pain. However, there is an equal chance that the BOM-HYD flight will be delayed because this is IC so maybe you might just be able to make it ;-). Why does a DEL-HYD direct not work? There's one at around 9 pm - either spicejet or indigo, can't remember which.

I completely agree that a direct DEL-HYD is a much better option. The extra miles are totally not worth it.

Thanks all. I'd have prefered to travel at night hence my original quesiton, but it doesn't sound like a good idea. Just booked the 7am on Indigo. Thanks again
