BA Miles for purchasing a 9W flight..

How do I do this. I have heard that it is a definite possibility of using BA Miles for purchasing jetAir.. flights, but I have not found out how. Information please...

Before 9W went international and started competing with BA on India - US flights they did collaborate.
Now 9W is too much a competitor to have as a partner, unless of course 9W joined OW and route rationed with BA.
But you used to be able to redeem BA miles for 9W travel

it would be excellent for 9W to join OW.

They could set up a joint venture for UK-India flights.

both can do LHR-BOM, LHR-DEL and then

BA could do LHR-MAA/HYD/BLR/CCU

9W could do BOM/DEL-MAN/BHX/GLA

They could revenue share rather then butchering each other.

I fully agree.

On India - HKG CX and 9W could co-operate instead of butchering eachother.

9W could even focus on feeding LHR and leaving Transatlantics to BA.
Even though 9W has had major service level slips, they are still the most polished and experienced airline ex India and joining OW / reducing financial woes would seriously help them regain focus on product and customer service.

Are you open to collecting AA miles (for redemption later on BA) for your 9W flights?

I don't think they ever give miles for purchasing tickets anyway. You have to actually fly.
