Can i just book award before December 1 for a date 6 months out, and then either cancel for 25 EUR to redeposit or just change the flight to a later date (within 1 year of ticketing)?

Interesting. I'm able to see all 10 of my bookings in the manner described above although none of them show my IB+ number.

They may show up on your confirmation email but if you look at the ticketing email, you will see that there is no number there. The update will have to be done manually. Has anyone created an Avios account and received a name error when attempting to book?
I log in, try and book, click the I Am Traveling button, and get a name mismatch error. Calling was a complete waste of time. Transferred 3 times in 20 minutes, before a guy started yelling and hung up. |
I hope this ends well but it seems like people are putting a lot of faith in the IB twitter representative. What does IB get out of a promo like this? |

Took me a while to book the tickets, as I spent forever creating an IB plus account (and accidentally ended up with 3 of them). I was able to book 10 flights for $25 each after counting $3 cashback per ticket from Mr. Rebates. Hoping for the best now.
