Full refund of Miles and Cash with 25€ penalty fee.
I am trying to book a flight with the 10% discount using my Iberia Sendo card.
On the page where i select the flights the price that is shown has the discount applied:
A to flight that was 64, is now 59.
A return flight that was 44, is now 42.
Total price shown up at the bottom is: 100.65
I press continue and a new price shows up: 108.15
Which is 64+44=108
Why does this happen? Do i get a refund after i book and pay? How does it work?

you are right, I tried a couple of dummy bookings ex-Spain and when is the moment to pay, the system brings back the fare without the discount.
I guess you will need to contact IberiaCards asking to fix it.

I take it with appearance of Iberia Icon and disappearance of Iberia Sendo, they decided not to run the Autumn 50% off avios redemption sale?.. This was the most valuable benefit of this card for me... I wonder if it's gone forever or just a change of schedule. A little bird told me that the promo is likely to stay, but there is no hard evidence... Any thoughts, oh wise FlyerTalk?

last year we had a promo around these dates but nothing up to now this year.
Let´s hope it arrives in the next few days or, at least, that they keep it twice per year even it is comes with a change of schedule.

You mean they will stop issuing new Iberia Sendo cards, right? I can't imagine they will cancel existing cards with expiry in the next year or the year after. I never heard of it. Is it even legal?

Back in time the promo was for a 100% extra avios, but as everything with Iberia is being cut without limits...

I discontinued buying avios when they cut from 100 to 50% avios, but a couple of times I have bought a few when booking an award ticket in Eco, IIRC the value was quite good.

So November is coming to an end and still no sign of the autumn/winter 50% redemption discount on IB flights. If they decided to totally cut this promo, either they change the Icon card to a free-card scheme or I will definitely won't renew it on the next year...

It is now targeted and valid only for selected destinations such as Jerez de La Frontera
