Its a typical continental breakfast i don't remember it different than every other hyatt place which is coffee, selection of juices, fruit, cereals, and baked items like muffins or bagels for free. They have meals you can pay to order but i wouldn't recommend them over a short walk. If you are someone who needs a full american breakfast you can walk to the hard rock and get one.

Exactly as mentioned above.
It is a former Amerisuites property. Build quality is ok-not great. Noise can be a problem if you are sensative to it. Rooms are starting to show wear and tear.
Breakfast is a bit of ho hum-I usually grab a coffee and skip the rest.
Parking lot can get crowded-especially on weekends.
I do hope you are not expecting a regular Hyatt? There are MUCH better options in Las Vegas usually at lower prices.

Currently in house here at HP Las Vegas. Still a solid property -- the lady who checked me in recognised me as a repeat Diamond guest which was nice.
6th floor room with view of the Strip. Interestingly, this is the second HP in a row where the cordless phone did not work.
The Japanese restaurant across the street (Paradise) has closed sadly -- they had really good home-style Japanese cooking.

It's been a while since I stayed here but have an overnight coming up as part of a MR. Do they still provide free transfers to and from the airport?

Room is pretty typical for HP except for no window wall AC unit. The room we were in, couldn't close the bathroom door if the toilet seat was down.

I personally wouldn't stay here again. Rooms are outdated. Nothing amazing about the rate. If I needed it towards Diamond status or using points or a promo.....I would.

Sometimes, the big casino properties (i.e. Luxor, Excalibur, etc.) have cheaper rates (via MLife) than LV HP. The HP however, has convenient self-parking -- basically, right outside the door -- compared to the big casinos. This could be a factor if you're lugging a bunch of stuff around, or going in/out a lot, or need to make a fast morning getaway. The big casinos always seem to have long check-in/out lines, too.
If Diamond, chances of getting a 4 PM late checkout seem to be better here vs. the MLife properties.
While there, I also overheard another guest complaining about the airport pickup...

Agree with previous poster. While I have had my own issues with this property over the years, the parking benefit is huge, vs. the casinos. The Hard Rock is across the street for the gamblers. And I do like my morning coffee in the room, which most Vegas casino hotels do not offer.
I have another two night stay starting Sunday, if anything's changed I'll post again.
