What a waste. Spent the money to get rid of the dungeon and then close it shortly after while shrinking the restaurant

Any recent Globalist stays, parking charge waived on cash-paid rate?

Apologies to synzero for reading past his/her/their post. Parking is indeed $40 for all now on cash-paid stays. Nearby free options are Wild Palms, Hotel Avante, and HP Cupertino.

I am a fan of the Wild Palms and appreciate the free parking.

As of new years eve 2023/4, yes. Actually there was a menu for evening food, more like an entrée than an appetizer.

Meant to post this earlier. This is the menu I got in December. One thing per night stayed. If you didn't eat there one night you could double up and use two of the coupons they gave

The Globalist menu has been “slimmed” down

Great, so everything I used it for (cheese curds and creme brulee) is gone. Guess it'll just be used for beer now....

Breakfast at the “mini” restaurant was a little underwhelming. While they still have the signs up for Regency Club I wonder how long before this place becomes a Hyatt Centric.

Also they have this note in the rooms, though my experience was scalding hot water from the very moment I turned on the faucet.

There’s already a Hyatt Centric approximately two miles away. Would Hyatt really have two that close together?

If there is no lounge and just a room for the sit down restaurant*, then it feels more like a Centric. Don’t get me wrong, I wish they would go back to previous service levels, but unfortunately they have been gradually cutting back.

* It has a massive bar area though that gets packed when they have their conventions and large meetings but otherwise a ghost town during the day.

They could reflag as just a Hyatt since there is no club. That would help with Brand Explorer

True. Though don’t think there are any hard and fast rules of having more than one Centric in an area. Look at Chicago and New York to name a few examples.

I do wish they would restore cut services. They still have a nice gym and swimming pool. And the rooms have been remodeled and pretty spacious.
