Here's when the last 4 years FFN periods were announced and when they were good for if you want to try to guess when it might be announced again (assuming they continue the promotion). Looks like they've changed their previous pattern with this last FFN period though:
Announced - Stay Start - Stay End - Use Start - Use End
1. ?/?/02 - 4/15/02 - 7/31/02 - 5/1/02 - 9/30/02
2. ?/?/02 - 10/1/02 - 2/28/03 - 11/1/02 - 4/30/03
3. 5/21/03 - 6/1/03 - 8/31/03 - 6/15/03 - 10/31/03
4. 10/10/03 - 10/15/03 - 2/29/04 - 11/1/03 - 4/30/04
5. 5/4/04 - 6/1/04 - 9/30/04 - 6/15/04 - 11/30/04
6. 10/16/04 - 11/1/04 - 2/28/05 - 12/1/04 - 4/30/05
7. 7/20/05 - 9/1/05 - 11/30/05 - 9/15/05 - 1/31/06
Announced - Stay Start - Stay End - Use Start - Use End
1. ?/?/02 - 4/15/02 - 7/31/02 - 5/1/02 - 9/30/02
2. ?/?/02 - 10/1/02 - 2/28/03 - 11/1/02 - 4/30/03
3. 5/21/03 - 6/1/03 - 8/31/03 - 6/15/03 - 10/31/03

Let the speculation begin...
I'm guessing for a June 1st stay start date! They typically need a few months from announcement to start of the promotion. I'm sure they are still reeling from the AMEX gift card promotion as it looks like everyone here took advantage of it.
Just my two cents.

With high rates and occupancy now, I doubt it will happen before Sept 06.

I think I agree with rbaa. They changed the pattern for a reason, and high occupancy was probably it

The lack of much of an FFN program during 2005 and so far in 2006 is the main reason I'm not giving Hyatt much support in this year's Freddies balloting. In addition, in prior years I remember receiving a Regency Club upgrade coupon with the renewal of my Platinum status each year. None this year; all I got was a coupon for a few extra points if I spend money on a lunch or dinner.

Platinum Extras
I got a Platinum Extras Certificate a few weeks ago good for my choice of one of the following:
- Complimentary Amenity
- 1,000 Bonus Points for Dining
- Regency Club Upgrade
However, this was my first year as Plat, so maybe that's why.

These are sent after every third stay for plats.

Regardless of whether or not it shows there, if I had 3 stays after qualification for Hyatt Platinum and I did not receive the Platinum certificates, then I'd contact customer service and ask about it.
