We certainly will and I suspect many others will as well. And yes- most Americans prefer an "upscale" American restaurant most of the time, not to say that many don't occasionally enjoy Asian foods. If you don't know what "upscale" means, then apparently you've never experienced it.

I would think the renewed Park Hyatt will have a main restaurant within the main part of the hotel. Lone eagle grill is really a stand along restaurant that could be lumped with the reported Alila cottages.

Sorry for coming back to the food topic. Now, I love Asian food, especially Indian, Thai and Japanese. But to be honest, at a place like Tahoe, I would want a good American restaurant with great Steaks. That just fits best in Bonanza area, although Hopsing was Chinese.

Has not been a club for years. Fees should be waived.

Nobu might work in this space.......for their anticipated clientele.

Biltmore as W-A. Guess Cal Neva as Four Seasons will be next.

I wonder how the cottage closure/renovations impacts Globalist upgrades and suite certificates. I presume the cottages were a viable upgrade option based on the prior posts.
Renovations: LAKE ACCESS AND LAKE ACTIVITIES WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE AS OF LATE APRIL 2023. Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino will be enhancing the guest experience by updating our lakeside Cottages accommodations and lakeside restaurant Lone Eagle Grille. Enhancement work is expected to start late April 2023, and anticipated through April 2025. During this time, these accommodations, amenities and access to Lake Tahoe, the beach and the pier will not be available, along with all related lake activities. Nearby public beaches, like the ones listed below, offer lake access and more:

Sand Harbor - Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park | State Parks (nv.gov)
Kings Beach SRA (ca.gov)
Search Tahoe Beaches | Lake Tahoe Public Beaches

The remainder of the resort grounds will be fully operational including the main pool and spa areas, the fitness center and virtual fitness room, Grand Lodge Casino, Tahoe Adventures programming and all restaurant experiences, including Cutthroat’s Saloon, Sierra Café, Tahoe-to-Go and Tahoe Provisions.

Got a mailing for a timeshare presentation with 3 nights here and 10k points for $350. Pretty good deal if you end up getting globalist benefits on the stay. A bummer the lake access will be blocked.

Staying at the HR or the HRC? Also, check the fine print. Usually these offers explicitly say the stay is not eligible for points, qualifying nights, and status benes.

the HRC timeshare weeks have been sold-out for decades, so not sure what this means. are they building a new timeshare building?

Deeded weeks are sold out at most, if not all, HRCs. They are now selling some kind of timeshare points - not WoH points - usable at HRCs and maybe other Marriott Vacations properties.

My recent mailer said the timeshare presentation stay was in Lake Tahoe at a hotel, not the HR. Did you confirm the 3 nights would be at the HR.

All the previous Tahoe offers I had seen were for a hotel of their choice near Truckee and some worthless entertainment credit, so I was very surprised by this offer.

That’s interesting, HRC must be taking advantage of lower occupancy at the hyatt Tahoe during the 2 year construction project at the lakeside complex. Starting in April there will be no access to the hyatt beach. They will be trying to sell the portfolio points as others have noted the deeded weeks are sold out.
