Today, as I saw someone mentioned in a north america Chinese travelers FB group, also confirmed from the cashier, however as I was sitting at the bar, two people are able to have it to go, maybe not all staff got the memo

Talked little bit with the people working here and they all know there is a problem especially how young are most of the people taking away to get 2 kids. Pretty sure they will also be way more strict at checked in (and its a good thing).

There's something amusing about a casino not being able to foresee people gaming the system.

Big question is if this will work out long term for Dreamscape. I remember what happened with Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City.

Right now with Rio having next to no customer database, they get value. Long term, I wouldn't be surprised it they migrate to calling the VIP players lounge a Regency Club to scale the costs more appropriately. Especially when you figure that uptake on a Regency Club breakfast would be orders of magnitude less than the current breakfast.

Whereas Rio start from scratch after being years of neglect, had a bad reputation all around, no visitors go there not even the locals, so a customer base don't even exist, also it is completely disconnected from the strip. It is too early to tell what happened long term with Rio and Dreamscape, not to mention Rio is still in the middle of major renovation, it will be two years down the road to see if anything improve, but in the meantime, giving out freebies to Hyatt globalist is the only way to gain some of that back, not to mention it bridges the gap that with Dream is being delayed due to lack of funding

Seeing reports in real-time how a benefit is being abused and rules modified in an attempt to curb them.
The $20/night weekday rates have disappeared a couple of days ago.
The cheapest ones for the next few months start at $45/night. There's still $35/night later in the year during Q4.

I will mention again, people seem to ignored the fact that Vegas is one of the three major convention cities in the US, I saw many Vegas FB groups that there are often people asked why a stretch of dates with rates are higher than normal despite it is not weekend, events only last a day or two but conventions last up to a week as there are people that are exhibitors often come a day or two to set up before the convention starts, and there are large conventions from 50,000 attendees up to over 100,000, when the strip hotels filled up, it will spill to off strip properties as well

Unfortunately according to Hyatt booking on Riolasvegas.com is not an eligible rate.
Also, if anyone bothered to read the paper inside their room it provides a discount code for 30% off a future stay, only bookable on Rios site not Hyatt.
