Easy way to get Hyatt Explorist?

Easy way to get Hyatt Explorist?

I think I read that it's possible to do a status match to get Hyatt Explorist? I'm currently only a Discoverist. Is there any way to leverage any of my current program status to get Hyatt Explorist?

Nothing direct AFAIK.

Maybe one of those roundabout matches via the casinos / Mlife.

I have heard about that, but how I would I do it given the status that I do have and the situation that I'm in?

I forgot the exact way will need to look it up. But you should be able to get to Hyatt Explorist given your statuses. The only obstacle is that the Mlife link will require you to 1) not be an Mlife member already and 2) you'll have to do it in person at just a few possible locations.

In my opinion, Explorist is not worth any effort beyond a direct status match.

I'll never be a Globalist given my commitment to Marriott right now. It'll get me more points for the limited stays that I do at Hyatt.

I'm currently not an Mlife member and never had been.

10% more (on limited stays) would not justify any effort to me

Something matches to Caesars Palace I think. Then you physically go to a casino in Vegas and ask to match status to Mlife.

There will be a thread somewhere, or perhaps some blogger has written it up.

Note: You won't receive the 1 Cat 1-4 Cert and 4 Lounge Access Cert when you normally get 30 Nights or Explorist

OMG, I'm so happy that you posted this. Thank you! I noticed you're in Boston. I'll be back there very soon. The problem with Atlantic City (been there before) is that it's not close to Boston and not that easy to get to. I recognize this will take a bit of work. Are there any places near Boston where I can get this sorted out or even in New York City? I know you mentioned Springfield, but that's like 1.5 hours of driving right?

Also, do I need to visit a casino once a year to do this or this is a one time thing and then I can just do the status match online afterwards?

The main problem is picking up a Caesars card with Diamond Status. The Caesar Rewards card is needed to match to MLife, You could try to look up other Caesars properties that could be nearby places you travel for business/work/personal travel.

Boston to Springfield is about 1.5-2 hrs of driving.

The good thing is once you get MLife Gold or Hyatt Explorists. You can just rematch using that same webpage that you use to match Hyatt to MGM MLife. You don't need to visit any casino after you achieve the status.

Yes, the MGM Springfield will still allow status matches from Caesar to MLife in 2020

As far as LAS, I'm not too familiar on when the status match is offered. I did a quick search and for now, it seems like no casinos in LAS are participating in the Caesar to MLife Match.

Atlantic City is the only place right now to do all of this in one trip. MGM Springfield still requires a trip elsewhere since you need to pickup a Caesar card (no Caesars around Springfield).
