As far as LAS, I'm not too familiar on when the status match is offered. I did a quick search and for now, it seems like no casinos in LAS are participating in the Caesar to MLife Match.

Atlantic City is the only place right now to do all of this in one trip. MGM Springfield still requires a trip elsewhere since you need to pickup a Caesar card (no Caesars around Springfield).
Thx for the info. What's the fastest and easiest way to get to Atlantic City from New York City? The last time I went, I think I took the train from Philadelphia.

That's what I did earlier this year.

Damn it, this is going to be quite the trip then. You think I can do this in a day if I were to start in NYC?

Frequent Miler has an entire article on how to do the Hyatt-MLife status match. The link below to the article should be helpful.

I just read that article and it says that I need to do it now. I can get to NYC in January. Then I can take the bus or train to Atlantic City. Will there be a problem then?

Since I already have Hyatt Discoverist, will Hyatt allow me to do a status match to Explorist?

I'm also reading that MGM is no longer doing status matching? How do I confirm that the casinos at Atlantic City are still doing it so that I won't waste my time and effort for nothing?

For NYC to Atlantic City, the bus is the only option.

Since I already have Hyatt Discoverist, will Hyatt allow me to do a status match to Explorist?
That's fine, you should be upgraded. I was in the same position as you when I did the match earlier this year. Discoverist via the CC, then the status match upon MLife account link. It will take about 24 hrs for the status to update. (Took a few hours for me).

How long is the bus ride?

I'm guessing if I get MLife, I'll still have to wait until February to do the status match to Hyatt Explorist?

Any way to confirm that Atlantic City MGM is doing status match? Really don't want to go to Atlantic City in January for no apparent reason...

Never did the bus ride, so I personally don't know. My guess would be around 2-3 hours each way.

The Borgata Status Match Promo
https://www.theborgata.com/casino/m-...-gold-trade-up

They been running this promo for years, unless this promo suddenly vanishes next year.

I would also note that make sure you do the match Marriott -> Wyndham -> Caesar match before your Atlantic City trip. It might take time for the status to show on your profile. If I remembered, it took about a week for this process. Start the process in January, and as a result you should have Caesar Diamond until Jan 2021.

Also don't sign up for the MLife Account til you get to The Borgata if you want the New Player Promo. Its fine if you pre-created a MLife account, they will still do the status match.

You're the best! Thanks bud!

Just want to make sure I'm on the same page as you. Don't do the status match now. Wait until January 1, 2020 to do the status match or even December 30/31st? I'll be in NYC in the third week of January 2020. That should be enough time?

It should be no problem. I status matched back from MLife Gold to Explorist a couple of months ago, which gives me Explorist status for another year until Feb. 2021. I hope this status match thing continues.

Lol you are hardcore L2! I hope this works out for you and am glad you got the details squared away. I was a bit hazy on it without having a chance to look it all up.

Also, with Caesars Diamond, you get a $100 gift to use on a dinner for restaurants within Caesars rewards. I always use it at Old Homestead (in Caesars) for their fabulous Porterhouse.

So reading the link below...after matching Marriott to Wyndham you have Wyndham Diamond for 90 Days. This is because it is actually a status challenge, not a match. So when you do this doesn't seem to matter, just make sure to match Wyndham to Caesar when you have temporary Wyndham Diamond
https://www.wyndhamhotels.com/wyndha...s/status-match

One thing about the Wyndham to Caesar match is that Caesar status resets in January 31. So if your Caesar status resets, you can just rematch again from Wyndham (provided that you're still Wyndham Diamond from the 90 day challenge) . Read the article and comments below.
https://pointmetotheplane.boardingar...-status-match/

For me tho, I didn't complete the status challenge for Wyndham, and I'm downgraded to Wyndham Blue. My Caesars Diamond status expires in Jan 31, 2020. My future plan for January is to immediately match Caesar to Wyndham to get Wyndham Diamond for 2020. Then in February match Wyndham to Caesar in order to get Caesar Diamond for the rest of 2020.

Anybody else find it ironic that this thread is titled "Easy way to Explorist?" even though we're talking about driving to various different casinos along the East Coast to beg for status matches...
