Trying to get some status challange / match love from hyatt but striking out
I am a newly minted Marriott Titanium member. Given Marriott's inconsistencies of hotel experience wanted to give Hyatt a try.
The status challenge page world.hyatt.com content/gp/en/wohpromotions/trial-tier-offer [dot] html does not accept my work email (I am not allowed to post URLs yet).
So I wrote to the program and was told to earn elite the hard way.
I also tried calling the sales mgr at hotel I was thinking of staying next week, but did not get her on the phone, so did not leave a message.
Given that certain perks are what makes business travel bearable sometimes given hotel service issues, I would got want to earn it the hard way, since I already have elite at Marriott and Gold at hilton (thanks to CC)
Any ideas options to get this with Hyatt or should I just give it up.

I was in your shoes 6 months ago. Tried the same routes, no dice. I sucked it up. Get the CC for Discoverist and go from there. Otherwise you can stay with Marriott/Hilton mediocrity.

But otherwise if you want easy status then you stay with Hilton. If you want valuable status then you suck it up and do Hyatt the hard way. Because it's hard for almost everybody Hyatt actually have elite benefits worth having...

Thank you guys.
Especially good to know that some attempts are futile, so not spend too much time pursuing them.
As for airline wince I am in Washington DC area - not much of a hub. United and American have a presence. So I am a United elite which is also tied to Marriott.
I probably only have about another 20 nights of work travel for the year. About 10 in September and then a few here and there. So the challenge would have been perfect.
C'est la vie

If you really desire elite status with Hyatt, there is a way. Not easy and takes some work, but pretty attainable.
Use your Marriott Titanium to match to Wyndham Diamond. Since Wyndham and Caesars Rewards have a partnership, you can easily match your Wyndham Diamond to Caesars Rewards Diamond online, which takes around several days to a week for each match. Since you 're in the DC area, take your Caesars Rewards Diamond to MGM National Harbor, to be matched to MLIFE Gold. Since Hyatt and MLIFE have partnership, you can easily match from MLIFE Gold to Hyatt Explorist online, which usually takes a day or updates immediately.
The Caesars Rewards to MLIFE is the only match that has to be done in person, which isn't too bad since you're in DC area.
Hope this helps.

It's my understanding from reading Chinese Hyatt forums that you can email sales managers at specific Hyatt properties in China to get access to a similar fast track challenge. Work email and additional criteria all unnecessary. This challenge has the exact same terms as the fast track challenge on the Hyatt website, but I believe it's targeting a different demographic (Chinese).

"*Some exclusions apply. Each participant may only redeem one Tier Match, from the list of qualifying casinos. Visit the M life Rewards desk for a list of qualifying casinos. This is only offered at MGM Springfield specifically. "

To OP, belay my last on tier matching at MGM National Harbor. You can always try to call to see if they are and just not advertising it. Your other closest MLIFE location would be at Borgata Atlantic City, which is around a 3 hour drive away. The trip may be worthwhile and could be a nice short weekend getaway.

My Wyndham DIA to Total Rewards (Caesars) DIA went through quickly, and the nice thing is my Wyndham DIA was just a temporary status that expired recently, but, the Caesar's TR DIA is good for the year. Can't hurt to try the MGM by the river since you may be close to it, and it looks great every time I drive by it on my way to the Baltimore area. I should have made the trip to Springfield last time I was in NYC, but forgot. It's still a long drive.

Hyatt has some nice properties that generate, on average, about twice the revenue of the average Bonvoy property. So stay at Grand Hyatt Seattle, Hyatt Regency London, Park Hyatt Sydney, Grand Hyatt Kauai, Hyatt Regency Maui, Chicago Athletic Association & earn your status from the ground up - you will not regret. You still have time in 2019! Been Globalist for years. Program so much better than Bonvoy and HHonors.

The only feasible way for you is to go the credit card route and add a bunch of EQN through that. Can you put a lot of charges on the card by chance?
I honestly wouldn't recommend doing a regular climb to 60 nights by non/low status stays. It's not enjoyable and a total waste of money.
Word has it some are selling the Globalist fast track on eBay and it works pretty well. Not much to lose if it's a new account without any big points balance on it.
