Enjoy a $50 statement credit

Here's how it works:
1. Register your Hyatt Credit Card by October 31, 2017.
2. Spend $300 or more on your Hyatt Credit Card at Hyatt Place or Hyatt House hotels in the U.S. by January 1, 2018.
3. Enjoy a $50 statement credit.

Has anyone gotten the credit when registering after staying and spending the $300? I registered before the Oct 31 date but forgot to register before my stay during the first week of Oct.

well, this is interesting. I registered but can't see anything on my account. I just called Hyatt, they said they had no knowledge of it.....and to call Chase. Chase can't find anything about it and said to call Hyatt.

Hyatt gift card support tells me that the gift card program that was rolled out in 2014-15 has been terminated, and it is no longer possible to buy gift cards on property.

Took about 3 days for them to arrive at this conclusion. They just kept telling me to buy the gift cards online or at my local Walgreens or CVS. Sigh.

I purchased a $300 gift card at a Hyatt Place on 10/23 and received the $50 credit the next day (10/23 was my statement close date).

Stayed HP Scottsdale 10/31-11/3. No credit posted. Called Hyatt per the email and they said it's a Chase promotion. Transferred to Chase who gave me the 6-8 week b.s.

I'm calling back after 6 weeks (next week). Has anyone else's credit taken this long?

Can anyone confirm if this is a cumulative accrual at HH's to $300 or if it has to be done in a single stay?
