Hyatt Visa offer. $50 off 300 at HP/HH before 01/01/18
Just got this email to sign up, starting today 10/02. Just like the Whole Foods offer.

This should work to walk in and buy a giftcard correct?
|
Already posted here: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/hyatt...-sales-36.html ;)
T & C don't exclude purchase of on-property giftcards, but exclude purchases made at the HH/HP properties from non-Hyatt owned outlets. Email announcing promo says it's targeted but, as in some past promos, YMMV. |
T&C in the e-mail say it includes purchases of "goods and services". I wouldn't assume gift cards fall under that.
|
There's a good chance that this is a way to prop up HPs and HHs, which were thrown under the bus in the tale of WoH.
|
Thanks! I didn't get the email yet, but was able to register I have a stay coming up at the end of October that should qualify, so an easy $50.

$300 spend?
Does this need to be done during one stay?
ive been occassionally staying on cash & points to chip away at requalification. For short revenue stays its hard to spend $300 on a one nighter. |
Usually would’ve been great promo! However with the low nightly rate of HH/HP, the fact they are 30 min out of the way from city like Norfolk VA and the strong SPG promotion, for me the net after promo would be like $20 for 1 hour extra travel time. Will have to pass.

I read the T & C as: if your cumulative spend on HP/HH brands = $300 during the qualifications period, you've met the terms.

and as mentioned above, you can stay at a Hilton, Marriott, or SPG property...and likely save even more, be in a more convenient location, and get promo bonus points.;)
For me, it's an easy 50 bucks to pick up that requires nothing out of my way^. |
anyone that has taken advantage of this offer get their credit yet? I had a stay last week that was $310, but still didnt get the credit. I was hoping it would be instant like the whole foods offer.

Spend $300, get $50 credit
I searched the forum for this promotion, but didn't find it.
Apparently it's an offer to (at least some) Hyatt credit card holders. Spend $300 at Hyatt House and Hyatt Place hotels in the US by the end of this year and get a $50 statement credit. The reason I mention it is that I registered and (three days later) got an email thanking me for registering in February. Maybe I was wrong, and the email was eight months later rather than three days later. (Thanks to the moderator who merged this post into the existing thread.) |
