Elite Benefits Booking via Citi Pretige

As I Globalist, do you receive elite onsite benefits, ability to apply a DSU, night credits, and earn points if I book via Citi for the 4th night free benefit? I think I just get points but not sure.

Actually you have everything you mentioned as long as you provide your Hyatt number to Citi Concierge.

As far as Hyatt is concerned, the fourth night is a paid night. Who ultimately pays this (you or Citi in terms of a reimbursement) is irrelevant to Hyatt.

Remember this can only be used once during a stay - i.e., you don't get two free nights on an eight night stay.

You pay the entire bill at checkout. The free night credit is subsequently applied to your credit card account.

If you want night credits, phone your booking in using the citi concierge rather than use online booking tool. There have been reports of chains treating the bookings made online as made via OTA and therefore night credits have not been awarded.

Is there a way to guarantee 4th night free using citi.com is not treated as an OTA booking?

Such as booking via citi.com then calling the hotel to add membership number?

Would like to use thankyou points to get night credits for qualification.

Call the Citi concierge number and book over the phone.

If you have high confidence in the property in question, perhaps it could be sufficient to jut book online, and then call to add your World of Hurt number.

I can confirm this - even after any recent changes. I called Citi to make a four night stay in September, and the 4th night credit was just applied to my account. And I was treated as a normal globalist and had the night/stay credits applied.
