So in 2018, award stays clearly count towards Brand Explorer award. I have Zilara, Place, and House all checked off from point stays. I'm 3/5 and should hit #4 tomorrow staying at the Park Beaver Creek.

However, I stayed at the Hyatt Regency in November 2017 on points as well and I don't have that one checked off for Brand Explorer, Did Hyatt change whether award stays count between 2017 and 2018, or should I call CS and ask for credit for the 2017 stay at Regency?

I had an award stay at Miraval in July-August 2017 and it's checked off for me on Brand Explorer. You should call.

I haven't been giving it that much effort; I just need a regular Hyatt as my last one; hopefully I can use the cert next year with some nights from my WofH Visa for a decent stay somewhere.

The brands have been expanded to include the Two Roads hotels....

It seems, more free nights can be earned:

Anybody actually seeing progress towards a third free night certificate?

The T&Cs make reference to "earning a second award... at another group of 5 different brands". Not mentioning a third award isn't definitive of course, but whether I chase some of these new brands depends on whether there's a third free night certificate on offer...

What about SLH? Are stays there eligible somehow?

Did my first JDV stay this week (Hotel Lincoln...meh)...my 11th brand did go purple on the chart as an FYI. But no actual sign of getting a 3rd free night at 15.

^ for the data point.

I think I saw some blogger mention that it is coming in June or July. Who knows whether that is based on actual information from Hyatt though...

I don't see the brand explorer check on the website anymore (though is there on the mobile app). Can someone point me how to get to it once logged in?

It does frustrate me (small "f" frustrated, not big F "Frustrated" like dealing with terrible Marriott IT) that the web site lumps together TSUs / club access awards. App is much better in keeping them separate, along with giving more detail about free night expiry dates.

18 month nudge later - I should be getting my 13th (Destination) this month. Working on doing an HRC as well for my 14th, should be doable domestically.

15th will be harder - would require a Ziva/Zilara visit, a trip to Shanghai, or one of the few Alilas (though the Cali ones could be doable).

Anyone else further along?

Nawp. Still stuck at 6 for over a year.

Good luck and eventually enjoy the trip!
