Of course true - it was Lifetime Gold Passport, not Lifetime World of Hyatt!

According to VFTW, yes if you already have LT Diamond. The new program is going to change LT quals apparently.

Simply not true. Their announcement clearly states that current Lifetime Diamonds are now Lifetime Globalists. I also verified this, this afternoon, with the Courtrsy Card desk.

What are you talking about, how is that even relevant? The entire term Diamond is being deprecated. According to VFTW, the current lifetime Diamond program still exists as is until the transition. Then current lifetime members become lifetime Globalist in the new program. Finally, other members will be able to qualify for lifetime Globalist under terms not yet disclosed.

If your comment is simply about the actual word Diamond, then I kindly suggest you explain because your post is misleading and is likely spreading confusion.

Ask Markie, she seems to "get" what I said.

Meaningless semantics designed to confuse fellow FT'ers.

The relevant outcome is that what was "lifetime diamond" will continue to exist, under new terms, but continuing for current members - perhaps the name changes, yes, but is that really worth confusing folks over?

I'm sure that you're the life of whatever party that you choose to attend.

Indeed, but I doubt Hyatt is willing to downgrade en masses Lifetime GoldPassport Diamonds by exploiting a program rename/redesign while the program is still wholly-owned and operated by Hyatt.
