First post after 3 years and this is what brought you out of lurking? How's working for the Hyatt IT department?

I don't know what's happening as I don't have a username set up and use my GP account and am still locked out.

Three requests later and GP hasn't emailed me a new password. Sigh.

I never actually received an email about this. Did that only go out to the 200 that were impacted directly?

Not complaining but just curious.

I've had login issues I've chronicled the past few months in the website thread. The Hyatt FT rep reached out to me and had me pass the info on to their IT.

I've never had issues before this with hyatt.com, so hope this active fix is going to work.

Very disappointed at Hyatt response

I am a huge fan of Hyatt CS. But it is astounding to me that a mass mailing did not go out to all GP members alerting them to what was happening. Non-readers of flyertalk or the blog must be terribly confused when they try to login. I suspect the phone lines are or will be overwhelmed. The email that rare individuals have received should have been sent to everyone. Although the fact that it takes hours to get a new password emailed suggests that that system is already overloaded and maybe it couldn't handle tens of thousands of requests at a time.

Received it hours after resetting as was suggested on Flyertalk. No big deal and just glad no points or reservations were lost.

This thing is totally screwed up!!!

- Put in for my first new temporary password around lunchtime.
- By 9pm I had not gotten an email with a password. Got on the site and requested a temporary password for the second time.
- Around 9:15pm I got an email and logged in to create new password
- Around 10pm I got ANOTHER email with a temporary password after I had already logged in and created a new password.

Guess I need to think of another password again!
