I hope that there is some variant of this offer in the summer. I have travel coming up last June - Aug that could easily cover 10 nights. Then 2 night mattress run is simple. But I'm pretty sure it won't happen.

I completed the "Elite Tier" offer at the start of the month. I was platinum through the Chase CC and had to stay 12 nights. The first 6 nights earned an additional 1000 bonus points per night.

To the others asking, points posted around 24 hours after checkout but I still showed Platinum status. It updated to Diamond a few hours later and then the DSUs were available the next day. I got the congratulations email three or four days after checkout.

Thanks for confirming, that's what I thought.

Not sure why the rep was so insistent that I only had to stay 6 nights.

Oh well, have 12 nights planned within the window so shouldn't be an issue.

Hi friends who are trying to complete the QQTE trial offer.

I recently ordered some Hyatt Check Certificates through Southwest Airlines. When I received mine, they also sent me some extra certificates which expire 4/30/15....about 16 days from now.

I think they sent these extra certificates as a nice gesture for jacking me around on my order for almost a month...but alas, I cannot use them as they expire so quickly.

I am happy to pass these along to someone who may need them. They have a few rules but hopefully someone can use them before April 30th.

1) There are 4 certificates each worth $100
2) They are $100 off a TWO night PAID stay.
3) A maximum of two certificates may be used on stays of 4 or more consecutive nights for a total of $200 off the room portion of the stay. So you can only use two certificates at a time.
4) Here's the bad part - they can only be used for Grand Hyatt or Hyatt Regency hotels....there is a listing of the hotels which qualify and I could look up your hotel before you get them to make sure they apply.
5) You have to give the certificate code when you make the reservation....so you have to actually CALL and speak with someone.
6) The certificate needs to be surrendered at check-in.
7) Expiration date of 4/30/15

I'm not trying to make any money off of these, I just hope someone can use them. I would be happy to send them overnight if you want to pay the shipping through my PayPal account.

Hope someone can use them for a trip! Email me at [email protected]

I wish I could use these! I have a two night stay this weekend but I am guessing it would take longer than that for them to arrive here in Seattle.

do you have to check in by 4/30 or book by 4/30?

The certificate does not specify but I wouldn't take a chance. It says they have to be surrendered at check-in so I would imagine even if your stay was on April 30th and May 1st it would still count.

You can't use this in conjunction with any gold passport offer or any other promotional offer like tours, etc.

There are lots of "rules" on the back of the certificate. It's actually the worst Hyatt offer I have ever encountered but if you can use it for a two night paid stay at a regency or other Hyatt listed on the offer, great!

I could send one out via overnight mail...you would save at the very least $75.

I really hate for these to go to waste!!!! It's like a really good coupon getting ready to expire only the really good coupon has lots of rules and is basically the worst Hyatt offer I have ever encountered...haha. But hey, if you are staying at a Regency or Grand and paying for it, it's worth a try.

If anyone is interested in these certificates but also hesitant, I could send you a scanned copy of the certificate for you to double check that your stay would qualify. Also, I double checked the USPS express mail rates and I could get these to you by Friday at 10:30 a.m. for about $25 or Friday at 3:00 for about $19. Hope someone can use them, just email me if you want to take a look at the certificate.

I was in that situation (already Plat) and was given the same info (6 nights to Diamond), and it turned out to be completely false.

Will see what happens. I also called HGP yesterday, and their rep confirmed that once I stayed 6 nights, I would get upgraded to Diamond for duration of promotional tier qualification time (balance of 60 days). Stay another 6 nights and I would have Diamond status through Feb 2016.

She also said there was no mention of 1,000 points for the first six nights I stay.

I have 6 nights scheduled starting tonight, so will report back what happens after my stay.

Also thought it was interesting that HGP rep could not send me written offer details.

Please update us after your stay; I haven't heard of getting upgraded to Diamond during the trial. Did the rep specifically call it the Elite Tier offer?

This might be a stupid question, but can one book multiple room to reduce the amount of nights required? For example, can I book 4 rooms for 3 nights and complete the offer?

No, you can only earn one credit per night no matter number of rooms or properties (unless there is a good reason like very distant locations) you are booked into.
