I am not sure that's the case as just booked c&p there last month and was told there was plenty of inventory going forward. With months blocked out it may be a case of the inventory not being entered into the computer. The rep couldn't tell if this was the case and neither could the weekend person at the Andaz. It's not as simple as you think.

Last month is quite a while ago especially since P&C only started in Jan. You're welcome to call the property but I doubt you'd get anywhere.

No room for C&P at any three Kansas city Hyatt place for one night in June.:(

Happy Wednesday! I just wanted to provide some clarification for some questions that have come up regarding Diamond Suite Upgrades, Points + Cash, and inventory.

Our Diamond members are Hyatt hotels most loyal guests, and as such, we do not limit or impose any type of inventory controls. If a hotel's standard suite inventory is available, a Diamond member may redeem their Diamond Suite Upgrade for an eligible stay, which includes Points+Cash or My Elite Rate, and have that suite confirmed at the time of booking. Hyatt Gold Passport will also provide all members the ability to redeem points for free nights or upgrades in a suite. Points+Cash and My Elite rate may not be available during high demand periods as the inventory for these are managed by each hotel.

Well, one could always try to email a manager (general, front desk, room) and ask them to open some availability.

Booked two separate stays in 2015 with P+C and DSU today: One at GH Kauai and one at Andaz Maui. No problem with inventory over multiple dates.

Hyatt Churchill points & cash plus?
 

Curious if anyone has stayed at the Hyatt Churchill in london on cash and points?
I'm staying at the hotel and I see my bill on the TV screen shows 92 pounds per day for accommodation and another 55 pounds per day for HGP points + cash.

I'll call to check what this is. Assume it might be taxes but wanted to see if anyone had any direct experience with this.

Rate is 92 GBP. I wonder if the 55 is what the hotel receives. Stayed earlier this month and bill was correct no problems. Got a few more points than expected though...

Churchill update
 

I called down and asked what the separate rate was and she said it was for my points and cash stay. I asked for clarification and she asked me if I would like her to take that off the bill. Of course I did and it ended up off the bill. Confusing though.

Just called to see availability for the cash and points for the end of May beginning of June in Seoul, London and Paris. There are zero availability. Is there a specific date or time when they open cash&points availability? What is the chances that they will open availability closer to the stay date? Any suggestions?

Each property sets their own availability. We don't have enough experience with each hotel and their practices to predict if/when/how each opens availability.

My suggestion, based on my experiences, is to presume that new availability will not open up.

Just booked two nights in November at the GH Tokyo with P&C!

On a few dates in late April (now passed) that I had inquired about C+P for Seoul the only hotel with availability was the GH. Neither the PH nor Incheon were on offer.

In this case I'd think the 3 cities you mention are well into high occupancy periods.

I booked using Points + Cash. In the unlikely event we would have to cancel right before the stay, would the penalty be the P+C rate or the rack rate?
