It’s very unfortunate that you didn’t take a few pictures. I believe you, of course, but it would make a complaint to Hyatt so much easier (picture >> 1000 words). I wonder if you can find some online (TripAdvisor?) from guests who stayed there pre-renovation.

FWIW I had a close friend go through a similar issue at this same property. Hyatt did end up reimbursing the instruments used/money spent for upgrades (I’ll confirm exactly which and come back) but it took a few weeks and seemed spurred by the hotel eventually backing down from their narrative that differed from her’s; this only happened after she painstakingly put together a play-by-play of her conversations with staff and shared appropriate photo and audiovisual proof.

Considering booking here for a few nights on points, 2 adults and one 7 year old, what is the additional cost for child on points / cash?
Also how does this compare to the nearby Zoetry Hotel?
