Expiration is too fast though. I wish it was end of November instead.

I didn't read. Nice!

Please Change the date on this Thread to reflect the correct ending Date of the Promotion Bonus to be "November 30th" and not October 31st which is the end of the Registration Date.
Thanks

I just wish this went through until the end of the year. I will have quite a few stays in December but only 2 between now and end November.

Problem for euro-GP members is the complete lack of inexpensive properties to do a mattress run.

Is this stackable with the targeted promo that ends Sept 30? For instance, I'm currently getting 3000 bonus points for my first 3 stays before Sept 30, so I think this would be in addition to that?

Is the government contractor rate considered an eligible rate? The legal verbage makes it sound like a specific agreement for a specific number of rooms/length of time would be invalid. However I don't think that applies in this case. Any experience?

I need 10 more stays this year for Diamond requalification... Will do it during this period. Not sure if I will go beyond the 10 single night stays. Too bad no bonus for the Hyatt Cardholders.

Exactly my thoughts. I just re-qualified for Platinum with SPG and I was between Hyatt and Hilton for my next program...this makes Hyatt the winner...time to get me some points!

Any reason this wouldn't stack with the Atlanta-area 1500 bonus / stay promo?

Decent promo - especially compared to the SPG offering for the same period.

I am one HGP stay short of Diamond renewal, but have still moved several trips over to Hyatt to get to the 20 nights in this period, before looking at SPG.

Well, at least they're trying. As a recent Hyatt GP Platinum, I've become accustomed to no/few promotions, so I have to at least admit they're doing something.

However, Marriott is just really doing way better for me right now. Between the "Road to Gold" promotion (4 nights by 11/30=Gold status) and the Fall Megabonus (4 stays=2 Cat 1-5 certs), I'm giving my business to Marriott through the end of 2013.

Great promo, but why begin on 9 September instead of the 1st? A bit odd, no?
