Why no points???
Got a new one. Anybody have an answer as to why when I stay at certain Hyatt's, using my same corporate rate code, I do not get credit (points) till I remember to call Hyatt a few days (week) later and inquire as to why?
It usually happens at the same one or two Hyatts and the answer is always the same. "The hotel made a mistake". On my next visit, I ask for the GM, they come out and say they have found the problem in their computer, and tonights stay will be credited, yet it's not.
I have even had a supervisor at the Diamond desk at Hyatt call the hotels and the GM tells them the same thing. But it is never fixed unless I call in after the stay and start the process all over again.
I think the hotel is trying to save whatever $$$ they have to fork over to Hyatt in issuing points. Hoping guests don't check their accounts.
If no one has any answers, how about an email address to someone at Hyatt that might help.
THANKS!!!

I've run into this problem occasionally at properties that mark Diamond stays as packages (to take care of the breakfast & internet charges) - that's one common problem that happens.

This has taught me to check every hotel stay with any brand once a week for proper credit on the points. Funny they never forget to charge you for the stay.....................
