Venetian Resort Special from Nov 26-Dec 1

Hi,

What website has the best rate for the Venetian Resort from Nov 26th to Dec 1st?

The site below has a rate of @$169 per night + $101.4 tax for a total of $946.40.

https://reservations.venetian.com/cg...0;00/00/00;?/#

The expedia rate for the same period is $982.99.

Thanks.

Looking for some advice on tactics. I'm planning to go in February and have saw the Flamingo for £29/night and Ballys and Harrahs for not much more. Question is, would I be better waiting till after Christmas? Do prices generally drop after then?

Bellagio Code - April 2011

I'm in a similar boat...need a room for 4 nights (midweek) in April. Want to stay at Bellagio (Lake View Room), but most of the codes I have found only go out to March 2011. Hoping some new ones will come out soon.

Had this code for 25% off (BPERSP) but it's expired now.

So if there are any out there, I'd love to hear about them. Thanks

Harrah's Properties - 10%/25%/30% discounts

I needed to book 6 rooms in March and used the following link which was cheaper than everything else I came across. The reservations required a full deposit, but they're refundable up to 72 hours ahead of time (just in case I find a better rate in the next few months)...

**it takes a second after you click on the link for it to load

Good link, but Bellagio not on that list unfortunately. Will hold out for (hopefully) a Bellagio code

Bellagio isn't Harrahs, hence why it wasn't there.

Yeah Bellagio is not part of Harrah's.

Harrah's does have some good properties also - Ceasars or PH Towers come to mind. And they don't charge resorts fee. Yeah Bellagio does not either. But you may want to considering reserving a 4.5* from Harrah's first and wait for the Bellagio deal.

Same MGM grand deal can be done over the phone thru using the rate code "Book2010".
or

The buy 2 nights and get your 3rd night free offer at Wynn/Encore is still available. That code is VISANF

Re: Bellagio/Wynn Code..
This has been brought up before but I thought I'd mention this again. If you book a flight & hotel with Expedia to Las Vegas there is a considerable discount on the "package" portion which really helps with higher end hotels.

For some dates in December (19-23) both the Bellagio and the Wynn were showing at around $660 per person airfare, hotel and taxes included from Toronto for a 4nt/5 day package. (It was even cheaper out of Buffalo.)

Since the airfare portion was $460, it works out to around $400 in total hotel costs which is ~$100/nt and cheaper than any code you'll find for either hotel. The Wynn is also including a $100 resort credit as well. The price is the same for 2 to 4 nights, so the best value is to go for four nights.

Once you purchase on Expedia you're committed flight wise, but the hotel is fully cancellable up to 48 hours before arrival (depending on the property!). If you find a killer deal between now and then just cancel it and rebook somewhere else.

If you're looking for a cheap way to get into the Bellagio/Wynn and need a flight its worth checking your dates on Expedia.

I have also seen this but didn't need the airfare
I think you can grab the Wynn for around the same price without the airfare by using lastminutetravel.com and checking the hotels by using the process here:

http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/11885582-post37.html

I thought that $100 was enough for me to 'splurge' but it looks like you can also grab the Four Seasons for around $150 which is probably better than MO. There are other hotels too but the mid-range ones price out about the same using the various promos that are available.

Try smartervegas.com, there are some good promo's there. Mandalay Bay (at the far end, quiet, beautiful place) is offering stay two nights, get two all day buffet passes for free from $66/nt (code: PEMADB). Great value and I was tempted but I wanted to stay on the other end of the strip this time.

Also, get a rental car - its way cheaper than taxi's (unless you're a drinker!) especially when using the codes found on Fatwallet.com . I'm paying ~$80 for a fullsize for 5 days.

For budget seekers, grab a card from one of the Boyd Gaming casino's (Sam's Town, Orleans etc.) when you get there and then wait until you're ready for your next Vegas trip and register your players card online. As far as I know they're still comping 2 free room nights to be booked within 30 days and used within 2 months of registering. Its not the Wynn or MO - but if you want a really cheap holiday its tough to beat free.

(Also, FWIW, there might be *change* fees if you cancel a hotel with Expedia.. but I'm not sure, I've never done it..?)
