After 10min reloading like a manic, I finally get to the reservation form to enter my data, I submit and then "rate not available, please make changes", then it took minutes until I could reload only to find out my new dates aren't available either.

Got one night for GBP1, and two other nights at GBP29, quite pleased.
I was unable to book using the normal booking engine and used their HTML version which performs better when a lot of people are trying to book.
Looks like there are still rooms available at GBP29.

Of course since I had a couple pages going, and they were erroring out, I got 2 rooms (each for a different night) for £1. I hope they don't come and cancel them because I was trying to game the system...

Be aware that the Hoxton put the following clause in their Terms and Conditions for the 1 GBP rate (this is off their FAQ page):
Can I have more than 1 room at a £1?
Please note that we have limited the number of rooms that can be booked during the sale. To make the sale as fair as possible you are only allowed to book one room, for one night at a £1. If we find that you have managed to book more than 1 room at this rate, we reserve the right to cancel the all bookings and we will notify you that we have done this by e-mail with cancellation numbers.
Good luck to those who booked more than one.

managed to nab a midweek one too - I have Shakespeare in the Park tickets courtesy of the GF - the least I can do is put her up in a not very swanky hotel for the night :-) which will save us the long trip back out West to Ealing
Ironic thing is - TFL says it should take us 22 mins to get to Ealing from Regents Park - whereas Hoxton is 27
Ah well, it will mean a quicker commute to the Wharf in the morning!
