I'm just checking my reservations and it says:

Deluxe Room King Bed Marble Bath Room Safe Iron And Board

So I'm assuming this is not their base level Classic Guest Room

So I'm guessing they are for the upgraded rooms!

I'm not going to discuss the merits of FareAlert, but do you think it is just coincidence that this fare went away at around the same time the alert went out? I think not.

Oh god, I didn't even notice that... It is always nice to roll into vegas in style on a fare mistake. I booked a few trips, but Caesars will definately make up the hotel costs for my reservations in blackjack loses and the amazing restaurants they have.

Wonder if it is the deluxe tower rooms?

HA! I just got an e-mail headed 'About your LV trip on Priceline'. I expected it to be a reversal already. I do hope they honor this.

I can't be sure but on their website they offer;

Classic Guest Room
A Caesars Palace original, Classic guest rooms range in size from 300 - 400 square feet and are found within the Forum, Roman and Centurion towers. Featuring a wealth of standard amenities, these bedchambers exude a cool, only-in-Vegas vibe with your choice of one king or two double beds. Classic guest rooms include a cozy sitting area, wardrobe closet and our signature Caesars-style marble bathroom.

Deluxe Palace Tower Guest Room
Located in the Palace, these ample guest rooms measure at least 500 square feet. Luxuries abound, including a fax-accessible writing desk, marble dry bar and an oversized spa tub. Our signature Caesars-style marble bathroom also features double vanities, a walk-in shower and telephone.

Let's hope!!!

My response to Priceline will be "No"

They hold me to mistakes that I make on their website. This is just fair play.

How many people have bidded for a 4* hotel in the past and then get upgraded to a Resort out in Henderson or NW LV. They're going to have to eat some crow here.

Nice one - didn't realise that a deluxe room actually meant an upgraded one - been too used to hotels describing their lowest category rooms as anything but standard.

500sq feet will do nicely. ^

NOw, as it happens - due to my online gaming experience, have memorised, near enough, the Blackjack & Video Poker Tables in my head - so can count on about a 99% return (99.5% if can bring the tables in with me) - so how do I get free chips then in this town?

Reminder to newbies and oldies alike. Conventional wisdom is to NOT CALL priceline OR Caesars and discuss your reservation. Let the dust settle, etc. Let's keep this low profile, please! TIA

Did anybody accidentially take a screenshot of the offer for dates in early november?
Caesars Palace has a best rate guarantee, so they should match the price.
I am going for four days in november and this would be a great deal for me.
thanks in advance.
