Sorry, but the Mandarin Oriental is CLOSED until later this year. Besides, pre-renovation, from all accounts, it was tattering on being not really a 5*. In many respects the JW might've been better

I do like to read these posts even though I never buy them. At least those people on expedia who got the Japan rate -- some of them actually got the room!

Wow, that's definately a sign of addiction.

I haven't gotten one of these either, but keep 'em coming... i've been looking on travelocity also every once in a while, and w/ no finds yet. (but i clearly don't spend as much time on it as you).

Re: lemex's technique- I either pieced it all together from reading an old lemex thread or figured it out on my own. It's not that hard... it just takes patience and perseverance, which lemex has plenty of, apparently. Oh, I guess addiction helps too.

BTW, is Travelocity wisening up?

I saw the old thread too, and tried out the technique. Checking a month in one location took about 45 minutes. At that time, I stopped, because any more and my brain would have turned to pudding. I found zippo. There aren't that many of these rates out there, and there are too many locations. I don't think that's the way he does it, but however he does it, I hope he keeps on doin' it.

I suspect that you have trained 10,000 monkeys to comb the corners of Travelocity for hotel rates. I feel their pain. Please give them each an extra banana for me.
