I was able to book a room for 4$ using my Australian MASTERCARD! Seems odd that Checkout by Visa would let me link a mc but oh well.

I got 6. I totally forgot to look for savings for Austin Mego DO and grab a few nights in NZ for Oz Fest.

Now that I look I don't feel too mad about Auckland as 1/2 the hotels are under $100 without the promo

What is great about this deal are that some hotels that participated allow you to still even cancel the reservation for free it wasn't just non-refundable reservations only.

This promo was stackable with the concurrent "48 Hour Sale – Save 40% On Your Stay" Although one of my hotels I only saved $70 over the hotels own 50% cyber Monday sale. Although normal rate is $200+

Let's hope Orbitz does it again next year. My guess is that they will limit the number of stays, nights etc. in the future. Of course, I hope they do not.

If only you could have booked faster and used the whole $ 1.000.000 yourself for 10.000 nights, right?

I had a booking down to $10, signed up for Visa checkout, and by the time I got back to check out, the promo was over. Same room is now $154.
