Priority Pass - Hong Kong

Not sure if this is the appropriate place to ask this.

I have the Priority Pass for lounge access. There are three lounges in HKG that can be accessed with this. Does anyone recommend one over the other?

Plaza Premium Lounge (East Hall)

Plaza Premium Lounge (West Hall)

The Travelers' Lounge (West Hall)

My main desire is a shower and possibly free wifi.

Thanks.

John

I think they would all provide what you need. http://www.plaza-ppl.com/hk_en/index.php

Having said that I haven't personally used them since I have generally access to the CX lounges.

There is free wi-fi available throughout HK Airport ( http://www.hongkongairport.com/eng/p...-facility.html ) though reports vary on the download speeds available.

They all have showers and computers I believe. But I recommend you to go to The Travelers' Lounge as the Plaza Premium Lounges are much smaller.

Looks like it is now only:
Plaza Premium Lounge (East Hall)
Plaza Premium Lounge (West Hall)

Are those two lounges any good?

I was hoping PP might get me access to Wing and Pier.

No it's on Level 5. Entrance is on level 6, same level as Gate 35 departure (have to go downstairs from stairs) https://www.mrmiles.hk/plaza-premium-lounge/

So they built the aerotel and then closed it and turned it into a lounge?

Since this thread was last posted to, in 2010, FT established a lounges forum (in 2018) which specifically deals with third party lounges.

https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/airport-lounges-763/

It would not be appropriate to move previously non-active threads such as this into there because of the risk of transferring non-current information, but please feel free to contribute to that forum to help it grow.
