With the size of a flat there is no room for one. The other issue is the time to do it, and the time and place to hang them up to dry.

I'm with tentseller. I'd be surprised if there are a million washing machines here. In public housing estates (where a large part of the population live) much laundry is done by hand and then hung on the railings outside to dry.

Just across the water from you in Wan Chai, there're a few laundries to that do it by the pound. Underwear too. My best experience was a little place that wanted 40 or 45 HKD for up to 9 lbs. Was done by 5pm.
I can't remember the street it was on, but if you like, I can dig out the picture I took of it. It was on a side street near the intersection of Johnston and Hennessey, the end that was nearer Causeway Bay.
Clothing came out folded, dry, nicely scented and super clean.
In fact, it "restored" some gruesome underwear that I was going to throw out in favour of some new pairs I bought at Uniqlo. [I'll spare you the details of what "gruesome" means.] Don't know how they did it. (Powerful commercial-grade washing machines perhaps?)

I would ask the hotel staff for a more nearby location in TST.

Actually, that'd be a bit of a hike, depending on how much you like walking.

I can't help Kowloon side, but I agree with tentseller and christep.
Hong Kong has a lot, and I mean A LOT, of laundry places. They should charge by the KG or maybe the pound.
I can't really help with any specifics but...
I've seen some on the Southern end of Nathan Road before - which is probably easier than hulking a big bag of dirty laundry across the harbour.

Whilst I waste money on crap I am not tight enough to carry my laundry quite a distance. If it isn't within 2 blocks I won't worry.
I too wondered how I'd get it that far or across the harbour.
Thanks for the suggestions. I'll ask the concierge.

A Google search reveals that there is a self-service laundry in Chungking Mansions (recently used by a Korean traveler). There are also a few slightly further away which have Google reviews not in Chinese
