Elevators in HKG ??
Sorry if this information is already listed herein, I searched and could not find it. I will be connecting in HKG from a flight from SIN to a flight to SFO all on UAL. From what I can interpret from the airport map, flights arrive on level 5 and depart from level 6, though both seem the same from viewing the map.
The short is I need to use an elevator and all I can find are escalators on the HKG on-line map.
Any hints on where to find them if they exist?
Thanks!

I don't know the specifics, but Hong Kong is a highly accessible and modern airport. There should be no problem finding an elevator along any needed route. Also, the airport is in general very well signed, so it should not be hard to find. And, all of the workers will speak English, so getting directions will not be a problem either. I would not worry about this at all.

You must go through a security check from arrival level to departure level; there are elevators as well as the more commonly used escalators there. You may have to ask/be escorted to use the elevator (it is out of the traffic flow).

There are many lifts (as elevators are called in Hong Kong / British English). You will need to pass through security screen between the arrival and departure levels. As I recall (but it's been a while) there are lifts at all the security screening points.

Thanks to all who answered. I should have replied a month ago after I passed through HKG. Turned out to not be much of an issue. I was directed to an elevator by one of the security people.
