That would be amazing! I’m watching it every day but they are completely sold out for two one of our 9 nights so I’m trying not to get my hopes up too much. Looks like there is a little more availability the last 5 nights so maybe they can move us then. We’ll just have to wait and see!

What was overall occupancy like during your stays? Were any nights completely sold out? One of our 9 nights is totally sold out, so thinking that lowers our chances of additional upgrade a bit.

Edit to add: Just received the nor-1 e-standby offer for our 2nd reservation. Pool OWV 152,712 XPF, Sunset pool OWV 178,435 XPF, or Royal OWV 297,809 XPF. Going to pass on those again.

Quote: Very enjoyable stay! Had mixed feelings after my first stay at the resort but they've done a good job and made improvements across the board. Would not hesitate to return.
The Four Seasons remains my favorite resort in Bora Bora but it comes with the Four Seasons price tag.
is your preference now Conrad or St Regis Bora Bora?

Quote: hi guys..i think i joined when i first got my drone almost 10 years ago. and here i am talking about bora bora.

anyways...
has anyone ever considered/done renting/chartering a cat from papeete to the conrad?

there are many sites that look like airbnbs for boats, and i see them listed as low as $400-$900 a night.

we are a group of 8, which means ~$175 flight (OW ppt-bob) and $75 OW shuttle (from bob-conrad = about $350pp x 8 = $2800 just to get to the conrad from ppt.

and not to mention same thing the way back. so thats $5600 both ways, just to get to the resort.

so my thinking is, we get to ppt a day or 2 before our checkin, leasuirely sail, anchor and jump in the water, and arrive at conrad later in the day, or the next day.

anyone every try this before? or is my thinking way off here.
Ive followed the Conrad BB thread for at least 5 or 6 years and Ive never seen this topic come up once. If you end up getting info on a charter post about it here, Id love to read it!

I bare boated BVI for a week with my family and it was a phenomenal experience. I would love to do it in French Polynesia and see all the smaller outskirt islands. Though all the bars and rum in BVI contributed a lot to that enjoyment and Im not sure if FP can match it. 🤪

I posted a couple of responses back - I do shared catamaran charters through a timeshare. It's legit, I've sailed with them for 22 years!! They do Raiatea-Bora Bora - Tahaa in FP. It's a 7 day and everything is provided, plus there is a captain and first mate/chef. They also do Maldives, Seychelles, BVIs, all over the Caribbean, Greece, Fiji, Tonga - I think that's all at the moment. I've sailed with them Thailand to Malaysia, Canary Islands, lots of Caribbean, a short-term FP (Rangiroa area), St. Vincent to Grenada, Antigua to Bequia, Tobago - a lot of these are past itineraries, but you get the idea. PM me if you want to know more. For $$$ you can get a whole boat and they'll sail a route of your choosing (assuming it's practical and they are based in that area) so you could start in Raiatea and tell them where else you'd like to go that's within a reasonable distance for the week. LOTS of options.

Well, we leave from LAX tonight and get to the Conrad tomorrow morning and no additional upgrade yet. We'll be happy wherever they put us but still hoping for an OWV for at least part of our stay. Endless View Villa will still be a nice upgrade.

Quote: Just returned. Can confirm breakfast (cold, hot, and a la carte) is included for Diamonds, no more credit non-sense.
Good to hear the breakfast situation has been resolved.

My wife and I will be staying here at the beginning of August (on points and FNC's). I have the Aspire card, but have no vacations planned in the first half of the year to use the first $200 Hilton credit. Does anyone know of a way to "bank" the first $200 credit so I could save it for use in August (and then combine it with the second half of the year's $200 credit). Thanks.

I emailed them and asked if they could pre-charge me for a specific amount and they sent me a link to do so. I was able to get my credits that way.

What email did you use to ask for the pre-charge link?

Also curious if anyone has tried using Hilton Gift cards at this resort? Wondering because I have a stack of them and trying to figure out how to use them.

To/from main island for evening
I believe theres a hotel shuttle I could take to get from the hotel to the main island for dinner.

Anyone know what time it leaves Conrad / arrives at the main island? Is it a free shuttle / how much does it cost?

How do you get back from the main island to the hotel after dinner - are there any sort of water taxis or do I need to book a private boat? And any idea what sort of costs it might be?

We actually just did that. It's 5,900xpf per person roundtrip. Leaves at 6pm and comes back at 9pm (takes about 15mins each way) and we had a taxi waiting at the dock and again pick us up at the restaurant. All transportation and restaurant reservation were handled by the Conrad.

Question for anyone that might know.

When they send you the link are you able to add more than one credit card per link?

Or would you need multiple links if you have different cards you want to use?
