I had to call once this Spring & several times since to get missing points. I now have 11x 250, the most recent on Dec. 10. In June DC changed my # for security reasons & I did get points for June although St. Jude's didn't get a donation from me. I just hope they don't deny me the 1000 because of that 1 missing donation!

I have 11 donations, (didn't feel like calling for 250 points) but did get the 1,000 bonus. I hope they continue this for 2010, I just wish they didn't send me so much paper mail because it has to be costing them serious money in postage since I get stuff (calendars, ornaments, labels, cards) several times a month from them.

*** EEKS !!! *** on calling to add the missing July 250 points, they were immediately added by the nice CSR who said these do NOT extend the account standing nbor save miles from expiring. Can someone PLEASE confirm if that is true or not ?

Ennemm, if U look at your acct. activity, your rep. probably gave U a "SERVICE CENTER ADJUSTMENT," which probably does not extend expiry. I called about my missing annual bonus of 1000 points & she gave me 1000 with that notation & said that if St. Jude's comes thru, I can enjoy all 2000 points !

It sounds as if our rep.s wanted us to have our points but decided it was not worth diddling with a Points Inquiry! I say we deserve the extra points as compensation for our trouble in having to inquire.

Did U get your Nov. or Dec. points? If so, those will extend the life of your acct.!

The last 250 this week are the service center adjustment but the rep said none of these points extend the life of the acct. She first offered to extend the life for a year then said you have till Oct 2010 anyway so not making any changes! Not sure she is accurate on all counts about extension or not

Well...some would say that the value isn't too bad at all.

YMMV, and remember, alot of us who particapated in last year's promo are still happy to donate off of that (even without compensation).

Exactly. Also I do not like that they are sneaky about it and do not tell you of the minimum amount $10 until you fill in the amount and try. I will pass though I would otherwise gladly donate to St.Jude or other worthy causes

Questions
I enrolled 2 years ago for this promotion and received points up to Oct 2009. However, my card has been charged up until not every month, with no points posted. I called once to HHonors and they said promotion was over, but still charged every month. Now 2 questions:

- how do I enroll into the new promotion, since they already charge by card
- Is it possible to get points credited for this year, if so - who should I talk to?

I guess they learned from all those cheapskates who last year "donated" $1/month to earn miles. Just read some of the earlier posts in this thread.
