Another problem getting Double Points posted

So I just returned from a stay in Vancouver, BC at the Hilton Vancouver Metrotown. I checked in on Sunday 2/10 and checked out Tuesday 2/12. When I booked the reservation, I used the rate code "HO" which they had listed in the rate category for "Double Honors Points."

Well, I noticed that the stay has been posted to my account, but (of course ) no double points. I paid a nightly rate of $159CAD; the total charged came to $391.37USD (from a folio total of $379.14CAD before conversion). The points awarded to my account are as follows:

Base Points: 3,294
50% Bonus (double dip): 1,647
Gold VIP 25% Bonus: 823

I went back to the website to double check that I had followed all of the criteria for the promotion. Under the "Hotel Specials" link, it shows the following:

Double Points in Burnaby

Stay at the Hilton Vancouver Metrotown between January 31 and April 30, 2008 and you can earn double Hilton HHonors® points for your stay. Book plan code H0 to receive this special offer.

Stay must include days: Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
Special Offer Dates:
Jan. 31, 2008 - Apr. 30, 2008
Ok, so far so good. My stay included Sunday... it was within the offer dates... the rate code shows on my reservation.

Well, I noticed this when I looked at the rate listed in the room rate category when booking the room on the reservation page (it was in the pop-up window when you click "more" under the rate category:

DBL HHONORS PTS
AVAIL FEB 15 08 - APR30, 2008 MUST INCLUDE A FRIDAY, SAT OR SUNDAY NT STAY
Whoa, the dates have suddenly changed... now it says it doesn't start until 2/15!?! ...?

I did not notice this when I booked... and I don't know if it showed these dates or not. But it still shows the dates of 1/31 to 4/30 on the specials page of the hotel site. Do you think they will try to deny my claim? It seems pretty sneaky to switch dates around like that... or pretty lame and sloppy to leave them on the website.

I have an email off to Customer Care right now (without mentioning anything about the discrepancy on their website).

So what do you think their response will be?

BTW, the hotel was nice. I got upgraded to a suite (#1401) on an HHonors floor, with access to the Exec. Lounge on the 18th. Good evening appetizers... nice selection and varied by night (sushi the second night!).

Just a brief update. I received a reply to my email, the response was very fast (like the first day). Interestingly enough, they brought up the Feb. 15 start date of the promo (which I didn't mention) but credited me the extra 3,294 pts. because of the error showing the Jan. 31 start date (which I did mention). Satisfactory enough resolution for me. The conflicting dates still show on the website.
