Yes - My 6 year old son emailed the hotel in advance. These are very large mascots so I can't envisage they will give them out very often. Ask the front desk or the lounge person.

Do they have Conrad London printed on them?

I grabbed a rubber ducky from the Conrad Dublin but after awhile I just got bored of a plain rubber ducky that had no markings, so could have been from anywhere.

So, great if "Monty" is obviously from the Conrad London! Otherwise it's just a stuffed animal from a shop...

It has a a Conrad scarf. It is actually a very impressive new member to the collection.

See their photo (much better than mine!) -

Got the bulldog at London St James this week. Had to ask EL attendant, who didn't know what I was talking about. Thanks FT!

This would be memorable IMHO and would differentiate the Conrad brand against their competitors.

I was talking to the head of front office of one of the Conrad hotels about this the other day and was told that the stuffed toys are based on the individual proprietor / owner of the hotel to decide whether they want to have such an offer at their property. The way he puts it is that the more money the hotel makes, the higher likelihood they'll have varied and seasonal stuffed toys. This theory seems to ring true with Macau (the Conrad there has 4 limited edition of bears and ducks every year in addition to their regular bear and duck), where it isn't unusual to see one casino operator make more money than the entire Vegas combined.

But I agree, it would definitely be nice if the stuffed toys and rubber ducks are a uniform Conrad Hotel thing across the board. I know for a fact that at times my decisions for hotel stays will come down to little things like this.

Cross-posting to here as well ...

Has anyone visited Conrad Maldives lately? Do they give those stuffed toys out to anyone who stayed there or do you only get stuffed toys if you have children with you?

Just got an email from Conrad Maldives saying they only give those out to children? Was that a change in policy? Anyone knows?

What a fun collection, Immortalist. I had no idea there were so many variants of bears. Thanks for sharing the picture.

The jealousy that just overcame me when looking at Immortalist's picture is completely irrational but I console myself by noting a few bears (and elephants) not present in his/her collection.

Planning on going to the new Osaka Conrad in September so look forward to the bear/duck offered.

Any word on either the San Luis Potosí or Cartagena locations and their offerings? I haven't seen any confirmations but then again haven't seen a definitive none offered.

I asked at the Conrad Dublin last weekend. The desk agent said they didn't have any but that she would bring that up at the next staff meeting as people did ask about them.

Conrad Hong Kong

Conrad Bali Bears & Turtles

Conrad Macao Bears & Ducks

Conrad Dubai, Chicago, Dublin & Misc.

Conrad Seoul, Tokyo, Bangkok, Singapore, Koh Samui & Maldives

Show & Tell - My Collection

The only one I purchased in this collection was the big Santa monkey from Bali. The two lamb/sheep from the Trianon Palace were available for sale in the gift shop, but the hotel delivered them to my room for free. The Hilton Arc de Triomphe (no longer a Hilton) gave me the bear in blue overalls. The old Conrad Chicago gave me the big brown bear with the red Conrad Chicago ribbon. Conrad Dublin gave me a Build-a-Bear with a custom Conrad Dublin bathrobe. Hilton Prague gave me the little black critter (a mole?).

It took me a while to find all the critters. Just remembered that I left Hudson, the Conrad New York bull, out of the photos.
