Do All CONRADs Supply a Teddy Bear?

I've got two bears from the SIN Conrad, because they are just a bit different from each other, and was excited to see what the Dublin Hilton (Conrad) Teddy Bear would look like, except the FTer I enlisted for the task found only a duck in his room.

The ducks are cool, but they don't state the name of the hotel on them, let alone which property, as the bears do, and they are identical to each other no matter the country (SIN and Dublin, at least).

The only other hotel that I have found to have such an amenity is the Chancellor in San Francisco. It has a real cute duck with the name of the hotel and location on its little chest.

If it is only the SIN Conrad that has the bear, I'm afraid that my "hotel room amenity" collection is going to stay extremely small

Does anyone know of any other Conrads, or any other hotels, at all, which supply "identifiable" room amenities, like the SIN Conrad?

Brussels doesn't.

For what it's worth, sometimes Teddy goes missing...

We didn't find Teddy in our room in Hong Kong at the beginning of October. Donald was at his post on the tub ledge, though.

Negative reports should consider this possibility.

Do they mind if the bear "goes missing" (into my suitcase) when I check-out?

SIN Conrad: 1 bear, 1 duck and (from the gift shop) 3 ducklings all escaped when I checked out.

I don't recall a note saying "Take me, I'm yours," but from this forum it seems that many suitcases return home containing at least one more bear then when they left home.

I was specifically told at the SIN Conrad by staff the bear and the duck were mine as a "gift" for staying at the property. Two night stay earlier in the month.

Quite often the staff would come over to our table during breakfast and give the kid a bear or two as a gift.

The rooms at the Hilton in Auckland New Zealand have a teddy bear wearing sailing gear. Of course, the same bear can be had in any local gift shop for substantially less money...

You wouldn't kid me now! Do they really have a little green dinosaur instead of a duck? And you didn't take it home?

Wearing sailing gear?!

Does the little bear's outfit have the name of the hotel on it, by chance?

If so, sounds like a good a reason as any to go to N. Zealand!
