Yes, it does say that they can do it without notice (bolded emphasis is mine):

going back to Pepsi after this promo

The monkey's at coke have responded to my questioning the increase in redemption points for DL and Hh:

Here is what the monkeys said:

We are continually evaluating this new program and creating ways to
make it better. We decided to restructure the rewards pool so that we can
deliver even more exciting programs, partners, and rewards, including
future opportunities to win double points, bonuses, and more.

It is important to understand that the rewards values of the top five
most desirable rewards on MCR members’ wish lists (Sony PSP,
Playstation 2, Sony HDTV’s, Sony Vaio computers, and Blockbuster movie
rentals) will not be increased.

And as a reward for their continued dedication to MCR, we also recently
awarded 5 free bonus rewards points to all MCR members.

We hope this information is helpful. If you have additional questions

I like how they listed 'desirable awards' that most people will never have enough for anyway..

Codes On 12 Packs

ON some of the 12 packs I bought the codes are hard to read--especially the last row,The last row of codes is kind of faded amd sometimes the first letter is printed over a black line making you guess if its an 8 or B or whatever. To make matters worse, after 10 invalid entries you are locked out from entering codes for the day.So far 5 out of 10 12 packs were hard to read.

Enetring 12 Pack Codes...

I did get a response from MCR and they asked for more info about the package I purchased. Before I sent them anything, I tried once again to enter the code. 1st time failed just as in the past. Then I looked hard at the code and decided to try something different. I had been entering the code from top row to botton row just like the caps. This time, I entered them bottom row first up to top row and guess what? It worked!!! Go figure.

My advice is try the opposite if you encounter a failure notice when you know the code to be a valid one.

8,500 HH points and counting!

Your Coke points have just been devalued and we are trying to spin it!

What an absolute bunch of cr*p! This is worse than CO NonePass enhancements.

I was saving up my points, but with increases like this I will redeem as I soon as I collect in order to avoid next week's devaluation.

Good news concerning the 12 packs! I saw some with codes at a mom and pop grocery store in the PIT area yesterday, so they are definitely making their way around the country.

finding the 12 packs

Here in Phoenix I found 12 packs at Kroger which is Frys here.Almost all the reg coke had rewards but only a couple of diet coke packs.I cannot use reg coke.I tried walgreens --same thing--alot of reg coke---no diet with rewards..same thing at local safeway and albertsons. So we can enter 12 codes a day--then with the 12 packs that means 100 points a day--right?Problem is after a week I will have already purchased more than we can use all summer--so I think I will stop then.I wish it also included Dr.pepper too.

We can enter 10 codes/day. I've found the reverse to be true - the Diet Coke seems to have the codes, while the regular doesn't in 12 packs around here.

Earlier in April I had problems entering some codes. I emailed the "contact us" folks (from the FAQs page), and got the response that SOME Coke 12-packs have codes from a second phase of this promo, and that the codes were not valid before May 1st.

Voila! I entered them today (5/1), and they WORKED! So, go dig any "failed" codes out of the rubbish and input them in now. You should get your points.

When I logged in today, I noticed a "refer-a-friend" link. Apparently, now, if you refer a friend, and they earn 50 points, you receive 10 points. Anyone interested?

still haven't seen 12 packs with codes in upstate NY (south of Syracuse/Ithaca)
It looks like the new contest requires you to enter a code before you signup for a contest entry daily (darn... I just entered 20 or so caps a few days ago ;-( )
