Hilton Honors Points for Coca-Cola Purchases
 

I apologize in advance for not knowing how to link to other areas of Flyertalk, but there is a discussion about a new marketing program in the Delta forum involving Coke products.

Apparently, you earn "Coke points" for purchasing specially-marked Coke products, and then you can redeem for a variety of prizes, including Delta miles and HH points.

Accoring to the discussion, the points are only being offered currently for 20 oz.-sized product.

Thanks for the link!! A 12-can fridge pack is 10 points, and I buy the soft drinks for our 11-person office. Diet Coke is the #1 item at 6 12-packs a month, so that's 1000 Honors points a month until January, plus 3 points each for whatever 20oz bottles I buy in various airports.

Its funny how I'll suddenly volunteer to be the guy to run out and get the 12 packs in our office too!!!

Not to mention ask everyone for their plastic coke caps too, they all know I'm a miles whore anyway

I've been saving all the red bottle caps wondering what the deal was, now I know, thanks. I haven't had time to go look.

I don't think that you've lost too much, the promo just started and I really haven't seen the bottles out yet

The specially marked bottles with the red caps are in our cafeteria at work thanks to the Coca Cola guy who makes regular stops. I don't know how many I've thrown away but you're probably right that it isn't that many. It's just that throwing HH points in the garbage seems wrong somehow. :)

Man I've had problems finding these coke bottles or cans with the promos. All Ive found is one store that only had the 20 oz'ers individually in the coolers for a $1.29

Here in upstate NY the coke guy told me it will be a week or so before we get the new bottles.

I hit three of the larger food store chains today, none had the bottles with the promo.

I can't even spend my money today LOL
