I made the same observations. A lawsuit? It sounds like the OP is, once again, trying to be pretty opportunistic.

Bed bugs get brought in from guest's luggage and clothing. It is not a sign of a hotel's cleanliness.

Unless the OP has some proof of previous negligence in dealing with bed bugs I don't think that you have much of a case.

I found both posts rather funny, each unique, but a smile generated from me.

Lets say it is mainly guess. But I read that 50% of people who get bed bug bites won't even show a sign. And it makes sense that bugs will bite everyone in the bed, maybe more on someone who has "sweeter" blood and less on the other.

The thought of bed bugs totally freaks me out. I thought I brought them back from a trip, obsessed over my bedding for a week...bought the 'bed-bug' matress cover etc etc. turns out I went into the attic at the same time and the insulation made me break out...but I did so much research on the subject...I check every room, never put luggage on the floor (and never on my bed when I get home). They can also transfer to your luggage when flying...yep....horrible little creatures. And almost impossible to get rid of. We can't have it both ways....no chemicals = bed bugs. yuck.

I remember that a few months ago, after I had just checked out of a Hampton Inn and was opening my car door, I saw some ants march across the asphalt of the parking lot.

Since technically I was no longer a guest, I didn't ask for points or sue.

ETA: However, had I seen bedbugs in the parking lot, you can be sure. . . .

Yowsers! Looks like HH's hands-off style of business management reaches to entomological aspects of HHospitality as well....

The article also says that hotel workers couldn't find the bugs....you know that they never, ever do....how convenient
