Hilton Garden Inn Dublin City Centre

Index to Genius1 Trip Reports

Here are some photos I've dug out of the archives from a 3-night trip to Dublin back in October 2021.

The Hilton Garden Inn Dublin City Centre is in a great location, with some rooms (such as mine) offering views over the Liffey, even if the windows were a little grimy on my stay. Rooms are typical for an HGI, with everything you need at the basic end of 4-star. As with all HGIs, a self-serve convenience store in the lobby offers essentials you may have forgotten, including slippers and water - all chargeable.

My bathroom had Crabtree and Evelyn amenities in small bottles, which I suspect have been switched for large bottles by now.

Oly's is the property's restaurant and bar, with a decent enough breakfast buffet and typical offerings at other meal times. There is no gym.

Happily, a google / TA search confirmed that there is in fact a gym. I'm guessing that, as your review is backdated, perhaps when you visited it was during bizarro COVID world and the gym was closed or otherwise hidden from mention.

That's good to know! Yes, I stayed as Ireland was just opening up post-pandemic, so I suspect the gym was closed at the time of my visit.

Hilton Garden Inn Dublin City Centre [was Custom House] {IRL}

Already has its own thread.

But yeah, its a very underrated property, great bar & breakfast, Diamond almost always in my experience gets early check in and rooms facing the Liffey.

Used to be a Jurys Hotel so quite different in layout from your standard cookie cutter HGI.

There's a bar around the back of it called The Harbourmaster which I highly recommend for pints, food and coffee.
