Given enough time, all loyalty programs ebb and flow.

Welcome back William, albeit from SPG to Hilton! Thanks Lauren for all the program info you've given us over the years here, good luck on your new endeavor!

What a great move.

What an astonishing coup - congrats to both Hilton and to William for starting a new phase of online life! ^

I'll be excited to see the interactions with "Hilton Lurker" (c'mon Hilton - grab that handle while you can!!) and over time I may start to divert my stays from SPG / Marriott over to Hilton.

Sad to lose you Lauren but I'm sure you will excel in your new role. And I am also sure William will be a great help here!

Like many here, I've had help from both of you. So a win/win for everyone - Lauren, I wish you all the best in your new role. And so glad someone is replacing you who knows what they are getting into and won't be scared away.

I was kind of wondering why you hadn't been around in a while, Lauren, and I was sad when William announced the other day that he was leaving. All the pieces have come together. Good luck to both of you.

Lauren, thank you very much for being so helpful on numerous occasions for the general FT community, and also helpful for me individually being the scenes when needed for special occasions, which I will always be grateful for ^ I wish you the best in your new position!

William, it's good to have you back on FT!

So long Lauren. Hope the new job is fruitful.

I hadn’t seen William for awhile, but am not a Marriott guy, so not surprising I’m out of the loop.

Good luck on on the move Lauren! Thank you for your help over the years.

Will be interesting to see how much of a free hand William is given. If it's even remotely close to what he had with SPG I have a feeling Hilton is going to get a lot of status match requests.

William, Very glad that you'll remain on FT!!

rarely go to hilton forum .... as although the loyalty program sounds promising, the foot print in my area is quite limited.

But amazing to see William move here.

And for the non compete clause, I guess as long as Hilton didnt challenge Marriott in the race to bottom all should be good

I know William's presence here will help get this SPG loyalist better exposed to Hilton & HH. Methinks I'm not alone...
