Non-Guest on property

Without super-flaming me, I'm curious about the process of non-guests getting onto the property. Two couples with one staying at the WA and the other somewhere else. Of course we would like to hang out during part of the day together at the WA once or twice, maybe even do dinner together. I know that all rooms allow for 3 people on record for the room, so we can "legitimately" put half the other couple as an actual guest. Of course that still leaves one left over. What is the process when walking back onto the property at the tunnel? Do they just ask for your name, do you just flash a key? Do they examine who you are with and if they are a guest (and I don't mean at night, bringing back someone from the club). I assume they allow non-guests to eat/drink at the hotel restaurants since it is not an all-inclusive resort. I guess if I could score an upgrade to a 2 room villa, then this would be a non-issue. Any thoughts on this would be much appreciated.

They ask for your name at the gate, can't recall if they also asked for the room number when returning after the initial check-in. I'm guessing that the only way to get to a restaurant as non-guest is to make a reservation, and then your name will show up on the list.

They do request your name and check it against the guest registry at the gate. In the evening, once as non-guests, we arrived from another resort on the the pacific beach side, and security there escorted us to El Farallon for our reservation.
They certainly allow non-guests to dine at the resort. Don Manuel is excellent. Once you arrive, you'll have access to text message the front desk/concierge team. I suggest sending a message that you'll have 2 guests that would like to join you for breakfast/dinner/lunch at Don Manuel's, their names and how they'll be arriving (foot or uber). My guess is they'll communicate with the gate and you'll have no problem.
Alternatively, you could stop down by bell/valet services when your guests are about to arrive and do the same. But I think it's good form that your guests are spending money on food and beverage and not using guest facilities, like the pool. I, too, would want to share meals and hang out with my friends while on vacation. Hope it all works out for you.
Also, Don Manuel and El Farallon are both on OpenTable and require a cc hold, but your concierge can also make those ressies for you for the correct # of guests.

The complimentary bottle of Clase Azul has been replaced by Komos Reposado Rosa. Not sure if this is a permanent change.

The Komos must have been temporary then for a mid-May stay. They also have a relationship with WA so maybe it's a back up.

Transport

We will be headed there for a babymoon in 2 weeks. I see Cabo Airport Transfers as an option. Anyone else have any other recommendations for airport transfers? I like that Cabo Airport Transfers offers a pit stop at a grocery store.

Do they usually release single night award stays in batches through the year? Trying to find something early January and don't see anything. Am I just out of luck, or should I keep checking?

I've used TransCabo many times, always had good experiences with them, esp. when in larger groups.

Our friend reported the Komos Rosa (not Clase Azul) on Sunday (26MAY) when we were in the pool at Conrad Tulum texting them. Maybe their room hadn't been used for a few days and got leftovers?

We used them last weekend. Great on arrival, but I wouldn't use them for departure again. Our flight was delayed and I couldn't get a hold of anyone from the company to change my pickup time. We ended up at the airport almost 3 hours early (it was either that or forfeit the $85).

Our experiences with Uber were great!

Convenience stores/grocery stores/bodegas

Another question: are there stores nearby for us to get small groceries and snacks? My pregnancy cravings have been extremely selective and specific!
