...and for those who did not know, DiverDave is the person who was the volunteer in charge of securing the logistics of the Hilton Atlanta Airport hotel property for the Delta Air Lines FlyerTalk Event — and he did an excellent job.

As my loyalty shifts more toward Hilton, my interest increases.

Carnarsie - In all honesty, I was extremely fortunate that that Hilton Atlanta Airport provided us with a GREAT liaison who went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Francine worked very hard for us. She made it easy for me, whether we needed more rooms or late checkouts or whatever. She was fantastic. ^^^

I just looked through old e-mails, and we had 249 room nights sold for the event.

I did an internet search, and it appears Francine is the sales and event coordinator at the HAA now.

She so deserved that promotion.

I would be interested.

I noticed most people posting here say they are interested "if their schedule permits". If they hadn't wrote that, does that mean they would attend even if their schedule does not permit them to attend?

Interested, but wondering if this could be made into a google hangout for those who cannot attend in person?

With all the technology we have today and the majority of people have a "gmail" account, this can be done easily

All ideas are being considered at this early stage.

I'd be interested. FT DOs are my favorite excuse for a trip.

We can't do it at a Hampton Inn though, there'd be too much competition for the Diamond parking spots
